The Village's Road Maintenance Program includes Preservation with Reclamite, a rejuvenating agent, as well as milling and patching. Delays are expected beginning the week of June 27, especially on Gregg's Parkway, due to limited workspace. Because lane closures will be needed to complete the work, it is suggested that residents avoid Gregg's Parkway if possible during the week of June 27.

The scope of work involves a 2 inch asphalt milling and replacement. This is a Village wide program and involve areas throughout the Village, including the Gregg’s Landing, Grosse Pointe Village and Deerpath subdivisions.

This is a moving operation and the patch areas will be replaced right after milling. Delays can be expected, especially on Gregg’s Parkway due to the limited work space. Avoidance of this area is advised.

The Village’s contractor CAM, LLC will be applying Reclamite Maltene Based Rejuvenating Agent to our roads. Reclamite is a product designed to extend the life of the pavement by sealing the pavement from the elements. The Village’s preventative maintenance effort will minimize the need for more costly and disruptive methods of street repair.

Once the contractor begins on your street the process only takes a few hours and once the road has been treated with limestone screenings the road will be fully opened to traffic.

These agents are environmentally safe and extend the pavements life. A bug and tar remover will safely remove any material on your vehicle.
