Chicago Fire Department Announces 99 Cent Smoke Detectors
The department teamed up with Home Depot to offer the 99 cent smoke detectors throughout the Chicago area.

CHICAGO — The Chicago Fire Department announced Friday that smoke detectors will be available at Home Depot for 99 cents over the weekend. Fire Commissioner Richard C. Ford said the department worked with the company to offer the discounted smoke detectors on January 4, 5 and 6 at 11 locations throughout Chicago area.

- 2803 S Cicero
- 1232 W North
- 200-232 W 87th
- 1300 S Clinton
- 2750 N Elston
- 1919 N Cicero
- 2665 N Halsted
- 3500 N Kimball
- 4555 S Western
- 6211 N Lincoln
