Chicago Mayoral Candidates Forum To Be Held At UIC

The forum will focus on communities that have been "largely left out of the economic growth occurring elsewhere," organizers said.

CHICAGO — A forum that features Chicago mayoral candidates will be held on the city's West Side this Saturday, Jan. 12. The event will be held at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The forum will be hosted by One Chicago for All Alliance, a group of 30 community-based organizations and workforce development agencies representing 26 neighborhoods in the city.

"This forum will provide an opportunity for mayoral candidates to share their plans for supporting Chicago’s low-moderate income communities that have been largely left out of the economic growth occurring elsewhere," the One Chicago for All Alliance said in a statement.
