Chicago's Giant Wagon Named In Guinness World Records 2019
The 15,000-pound Radio Flyer wagon on the West Side yet again set a world record.

CHICAGO — The famous big wagon at Radio Flyer headquarters on Chicago's West Side has again set the record for the largest toy wagon in the world. The cart measures 26 feet, 5 inches long; 11 feet, 8 inches tall; and 11 feet, 9 inches wide. And its 8-foot wheels actually roll.
The wagon, which sits on display at 6515 W Grand Ave in the Montclare neighborhood, was named in the Guinness World Records of 2019, along with other marvels, people and animals around the globe.
The big wagon was rolled into Pioneer Court, 401 N. Michigan Ave., last year in celebration of Radio Flyer's 100th birthday. People flocked to the court to take pictures with the iconic symbol of childhood in America.

The wagon was inspired by Coaster Boy, a 45-foot statue of a child in a wagon that went up at the 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago. Radio Flyer has locations around the world, but is still proud to call Chicago its hometown.
Robert Pasin, chief wagon officer of Radio Flyer, is the grandson of founder Antonio Pasin, an Italian immigrant who created Liberty Coaster Company in 1917 on Chicago's West Side.
