Four Letter Word Coffee Shop Opens In Logan Square

A company that began as a roastery in Istanbul has expanded and opened its first coffee shop in Chicago.

CHICAGO — A new coffee shop opened on Monday in Logan Square. Four Letter Word opened its doors at 3022 W. Diversey Ave., and serves coffee and pastries from its popular neighbor, Cellar Door Provisions.

Co-owners and friends Ria Neri, Eylem Ozkaya and Kevin Heisner started Four Letter Word in 2014. The team opened their first roastery in Burgaz Island, Istanbul. Shortly after, they opened a second roastery in The Plant in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood.

This is their first retail location.
