Major Delays On Metra BNSF Trains After Power Lines Cleared
Crews cleared downed electrical lines, however Metra warned to expect major delays and cancellations.

CHICAGO — All Metra BNSF trains are moving again after downed electrical lines halted service near Cicero and 26th Street this morning. Crews had to clear the tracks of electrical wires and poles before trains could operate again.
A freight train knocked the lines onto the tracks around 5 a.m. Both outbound and inbound trains were halted, but service has now resumed.
Metra says to expect cancellations and major delays.
