Man In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Blue Line Train
The man, 58, was at the Cicero train station in the 700 block of Cicero Avenue when he stumbled and fell onto the tracks, police said

CHICAGO — A 58-year-old man was hit by a CTA Blue Line train after falling onto the tracks Tuesday morning.
According to police, the man was waiting at the Cicero Avenue train stop when he stumbled, falling onto the northbound tracks at about 3:10 a.m. Crews worked to rescue the man from underneath the train and he is now listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
Blue Line service was temporarily suspended between Pulaski and Forest Park, according to the Chicago Transit Authority. Shuttle buses were made available.
