One In Custody, No One Injured In Shootout With Police

No one was wounded in the shootout Friday in Humboldt Park, police said.

CHICAGO (CBS) — One person is in custody, and police are searching for another suspect, after a shootout in the Humboldt Park neighborhood as police were conducting a drug investigation.

Chicago Police Area Four Deputy Chief Ernest Cato said, around 7:40 a.m., officers were conducting a narcotics investigation in the 700 block of North Trumbull Avenue, when someone fired several shots at police.
