Pedestrian Finds Body Beside I-290 At Ogden Avenue: State Police
The body of 36-year-old man who looked to be dead "for an undeterminable amount of time" was found Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

CHICAGO — State police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Saturday on a grassy area beside Interstate 290. A pedestrian discovered the man's body around 2 p.m. near the south side of the eastbound Eisenhower Expressway near the bridge support at Ogden Avenue, Illinois State Police announced.
He "appeared to be deceased for an undeterminable amount of time," police said in a statement. Troopers reported it did not appear the man had been involved in any traffic crash.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 36-year-old Sean M. Convey, a resident of Chicago's West Lawn neighborhood.

The cause and manner of his death remained pending Monday afternoon.
The criminal investigations division of the Illinois State Police is investigating the incident, police said, asking anyone with information about the incident to call ISP District Chicago headquarters at 847-294-4400.
