CHICAGO — Pitchfork Music Festival, the alternative and indie music staple in Chicago, will return to the city this summer. Organizers announced on Monday the festival will take place in Union Park on Sept. 10-12, with added COVID-19 restrictions.

Anticipated headliners include Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent and Animal Collective, along with other local Chicago performers.

The announcement comes just days after two other major Chicago music festivals — Riot Fest and Spring Awakening— confirmed they would return to the city at later summer dates. Lollapalooza is expected to announce their lineup and dates later this week.
