Salvation Army To Host Back-To-School Health Fair On West Side
The fair will offer free vision, hearing and dental exams, as well as free immunizations and school supplies.

CHICAGO, IL — The Salvation Army's Freedom Center on Chicago's West Side is hosting a Back to School Health Fair on Saturday, July 28. The event will include free vision, hearing and dental exams, as well as immunizations and sports physicals. Children who will be immunized need their immunization record, organizers said.
The fair will also offer free school supplies, a barbecue chicken lunch, a DJ and dancing.
The fair will be held at the Salvation Army Freedom Center at 826 N. Christiana Street in Humboldt Park from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The event will also include games, snacks and special prizes and give-aways.
The fair is co-sponsored by Rush University Medical Center and The Chicago Department of Public Health. Over 500 people attended last year's event, organizers said.
