Sexual Abuser Grabbed 9-Year-Old in Grocery Store: Chicago Police
Police are looking for a man who they say sexually abused a 9-year-old girl this week in a West Side neighborhood grocery store.

CHICAGO - Police are looking for a man who they say sexually abused a 9-year-old girl this week in a West Side neighborhood grocery store.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. Monday at a store in the 3600 block of West Fullerton Avenue, where an unknown man described as a White Hispanic approached the girl and squeezed her butt.
"The unknown male was then confronted by a family member of the minor female and the offender fled from the store on foot," said an alert from the Chicago Police Department's 25th District.

The offender was between 30 and 40 years old and had a light complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He had a heavy build and stood at about 5 feet 5 inches or 5 feet 7 inches tall. The man was wearing a white baseball cap, a light T-shirt marked with the words "A better world", dark pants and white shoes.

- Call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity;
- Caution children to be alert to strangers and to be aware of their surroundings;
- Ensure children are escorted by adults whenever possible;
- Instruct children to report any suspicious activity to an adult immediately.
