Tattoo Artists From Across America Coming To West Side Walk Up

CHICAGO, IL — Great Lakes Tattoo on the Near West Side will be hosting its third annual Walk Up Classic March 24th and 25th. The event is welcoming 21 tattoo artists from across North America, organizers said. Last year, the group of artists completed more than 200 tattoos, event planners said.

Artists from Brooklyn, Cleveland, Tustin, Nashville, St. Louis, Toronto, Jacksonville, San Francisco and other cities plan to share their skills in the event. Customers are invited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each year, selected artists tattoo designs from flash sheets created specifically for the Walk Up Classic, as well as designs from the extensive collection on the walls at Great Lakes Tattoo.

Great Lakes Tattoo Walk-Up Classic 2018 Event Details:
Opening Reception + Flash Preview: Friday, March 23; 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Walk-Up Classic: March 24 & March 25; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
