They Were Given One Week To Plan Their Wedding

Sean O'Hehir took time off from his job at Dreisilker Electric Motors when he and Megan White suddenly learned about a wedding - their own!

Sean O'Hehir and Megan White must feel like they won the lottery since they won a free small wedding from Chief O'Neill's Pub on Elston, but they didn't know about it since didn't enter the contest. Megan says that her sister Katlin secretly entered them and her entry ended up being the big winner. Katlin wrote a very warm, very personal, very long letter that really spoke to Brendan and Siobhan McKinney who own Chief O'Neill's.

Megan says: "I am a teacher at Brickton Montessori School, Sean is in sales at Dreisilker Electric Motors. We both went to St. Robert Bellarmine grade school (I was in class with his younger brother Joe). I went to Mother Theodore Guerin, Sean went to St. Patrick High School."

Chief O’Neill’s Pub provided a free small wedding consisting of the venue, dinner, flowers, judge, music, and photographer. This free portion also included 10 guests and then Megan and Sean were allowed to pay a small fee for extra guests.

There was also one more big surprise in order to keep this big day very exciting: everyone involved was given only a 1-week notice. Megan and Sean got a phone call on a Tuesday and the McKinney family asked them: "What are you doing next Tuesday?!" Megan suddenly took time off from Brickton Montessori School and Sean took time off from Dreisilker Electric Motors on Grand.
