Colin Faulknor paid $1.8 million for the new residence.

A high ranking Chicago Cubs official paid nearly $2 million for a new house in Wilmette last month.
Colin Faulkner, the team’s Vice President of Sales & Partnerships, and his wife paid $1.8 million for the home, according to the Chicago Tribune.
“We bought the house to be closer to Wrigley Field (to reduce our commute time), and we liked the neighborhood, the town and the house for our family,” Faulkner said.

The purchase was made from a homebuilder who demolished a 100+ year-old home on a 0.17-acre property in favor of the newer structure.
Faulker has been with the Cubs since 2010. He expanded his duties in 2013 to include managing relationships with the Cubs’ business partners.
