Donny Osmond's Former Home For Sale In Wilmette
An offer was accepted on the house last month after its asking price was reduced to $1.25 million.
WILMETTE, IL — The former home of Donny Osmond is under contract. Located in Wilmette's Gross Point neighborhood, a few blocks from the Kenilworth border, the five-bedroom white Colonial was built in 1954 and listed last month for $1.25 million.
Osmond and his wife Debra purchased the home in May 1993 for $780,000. In September 1993, he began a 16-month run as the title character in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the Chicago Theater, one of several turns in the role.

According to its listing, the house has an open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, an updated kitchen, renovated bathrooms and a remodeled and waterproofed lower level with a fireplace and playroom.

The 0.18-acre fenced lot features a fire pit, concrete patio area and a new seating area with crushed stone. The house includes three wood-burning fireplaces and, according to the listing, new attic insulation that reduces the energy bills by 30 percent.

In January 1995, the Osmonds sold the home for $820,000 to Kathleen and Keevin Schier. In August 2007, the Schiers sold the property for $1.3 million to Christopher and Jennifer Beacon, who listed it for sale in October 2019 with an asking price of $1.325 million, but removed later that month. It was listed again June 11 for $1.25 million, and a sale was listed as pending late last month.
