A land trust recently paid more than $11 million to buy two houses on the same lakefront block in Wilmette, the Chicago Tribune reports.
In October, the trust paid $4.8 million for a midcentury home and in January spent $6.2 million on a home three doors away.
The land trust’s beneficiary has not been identified.
