Architect's Northfield Glass House Hits Market

WOW House: Chicago-based architect Thomas Roszak lists his own, award-winning house for more than $3 million.

NORTHFIELD, IL — A five-bedroom "Glass House" designed by Chicago-based architect Thomas Roszak as his family's personal residence was listed for nearly $3.1 million last week. The 2002 construction on a one-acre lot on Rolling Ridge Road just south of the Sunset Ridge Country Club consists of 12 transparent cubes but was built to be a livable, family home.

The property won a 2008 American Institute of Architects Award for interior architecture, according to CNN.
