Bears Backup Quarterback Buys Glencoe New Construction For $1.49M
Chicago Bears backup QB Chase Daniel purchased a home off Green Bay Road for the equivalent of three completed passes worth of his earnings.

GLENCOE, IL — The backup quarterback for the Chicago Bears purchased a home off Green Bay Road earlier this year for nearly $1.5 million, the Chicago Tribune reported. Chase Daniel, 32, and his wife Hillary, purchased a newly built home on Old Elm Place in April through a land trust.
Features of the two-story Nantucket-style five-bedroom include custom white cabanitry, a cambria quartz island, a bluestone patio, an oversized marble shower, a lower level guest room, a "huge rec room,” heated garage with room for more than two cars and a driveway with room to park 10 more, according to its listing. The 12-room home includes an outdoor grill, one gas fireplace and hardwood flooring throughout the ground floor.
The 4,237-square-foot design is located on a 0.36-acre lot, last sold in November 2013 for $485,000, prior to the demolition of a 1954-built ranch. The new home was first listed in May 2017 for $1.85 million. Its last asking price before Daniel purchased it was $1.55 million.
