Former Bears Coach Marc Trestman Sells Winnetka Home

Fired by the Bears after two seasons, the former coach makes a profit on his mansion.

In with the new - and one day later - out with the old.

A day after news broke that new Chicago Bears head coach John Fox purchased a $3 million home from former wide receiver and current radio and television broadcaster Tom Waddle in Lake Forest, the Chicago Tribune is reporting former coach Marc Trestman’s Winnetka mansion has been sold.

The 5,200-square-foot home went for $3.35 million - more than what the former coach paid when he bought it in 2013, which was $2.9 million.

Trestman listed the home in March 2014, even before he was fired. He later took it off the market, re-listed it in January after he was fired.

The home includes a cherry wood library, third-floor loft and lower level with a fully equipped sport court.
