Former Chicago Bears Coach Marc Trestman Sells Glencoe Townhome
The ex-Bears head coach bought the condo after getting fired from his last NFL head coaching job and listed it when he was hired in the CFL.
GLENCOE, IL — Former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman and his wife, Cindy, sold their Glencoe townhome last month nearly two years after listing it for sale. The three-bedroom, on the corner of South Avenue and Green Bay Road sold for $550,000.
Trestman, 62, coached the Bears from 2013 to 2014. He then spent a season and a half as offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens before getting hired to coach the Toronto Argonauts in 2017.
It was his second stint in the Canadian Football League following his first head coaching job in charge of the Montreal Alouettes for four years before being hired by the Bears. Trestman was fired in November, less than a year after winning a CFL championship.

Trestman and his wife purchased the Glencoe property in April 2015 for $625,000 after he was fired by the Bears in December 2014, according to the Chicago Tribune, which first reported the sale.

The two-story brick condo was built in 1998 and includes 2,000 square feet of living space. It features French doors opening onto a patio and fenced back yard, hardwood flooring and granite counter tops on the first floor, a finished basement and a two-car attached garage, according to its listing.

The condo was first listed in February 2017 with an asking price of $695,000 when Trestman got the Toronto job. It sold Dec. 10 for $555,083.
The property's estimated 2018 market value is just under $550,000, according to the Cook County Assessor's Office.
In 2015, the Trestmans sold their former home, a 5,200-square-foot Winnetka mansion for $3.35 million.
