Harold Ramis Mansion Sees a Price Drop

Widow of comedy great takes $100K off original asking price.

The six-bedroom, 8,357-square-foot Glencoe mansion that was once home to comedy legend Harold Ramis saw its first price cut this week.

Erica Ramis, Ramis’ widow, dropped the asking price to $2.495 million - $100,000 less than when it was first listed last month, according to the Chicago Tribune.

About 10 days after the residence was listed, it went under contract, but the deal fell through and the mansion was relisted.

The house includes Palladian windows, four fireplaces and a pool.

The Ramises paid $1.901 million for it in 1996.
