Home of Nielsen Ratings Founder Sells in Winnetka
The mansion on Pelham Road is out of the family's hands for the first time in more than 50 years.
WINNETKA, IL - A top rated home in Winnetka that was the longtime residence of television audience-research pioneer A.C. Nielsen Jr. sold earlier this month.
The home on Pelham Road was unloaded for $2.42 million - about two-thirds of its asking price - according to a Crain’s Chicago report.
Nielsen lived in the home from 1963 until his death in 2011. Elizabeth Cocciarelli, Nielsen’s daughter was the owner until it just sold.
