Lakefront Winnetka Mansion Sells for $5.35 Million

WINNETKA, IL - A Winnetka home with one of the longest shorelines on the North Shore recently switched hands.
A Sheridan Road mansion that sold for $5.35 million earlier this month is the second highest real estate transaction of the year in a village that’s seen its fair share of large real estate transactions.
Crain’s Chicago reports sellers Dana and Mary Thorne first listed the home with 94 feet of Lake Michigan beach for $8.5 million in April 2014.

The home, whose new owners haven’t yet been identified, has a blufftop swimming pool six-car garage and extensive custom woodwork.
