Winnetka Mansion Sells for $2.1 Million

Another multi-million dollar Winnetka home is off the market.

A Colonial-style home on North Sheridan Road with six bedrooms and five bathrooms built in 1933 was sold for nearly $2.1 million, Chicago Real Estate Daily reports.

The home, which has a slate roof, was designed by S.S. Beman, known for designing numerous Christian Science churches in the early 20th century. The listing price was cut from $2.5 million even after a renovation including a remodeling of the kitchen and baths.

The sellers were Laurence Smith and his wife, Shuling Hsieh.
