Brave A Haunted Forest Walk In Woodridge
Ghosts, goblins, and other spooky sights will line the trails of Hawthorne Woods for this annual event.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The trees of Woodridge will take on spooky shapes and shadows during the village's annual Haunted Forest Walk, which helps residents get in the spirit of the Halloween season. On Oct. 19 and 20, you can try to dodge the goblins, ghosts, and other spine-tingling terrors tucked deep in the heart of Hawthorne Hill Woods.
Parents can park grab tickets to the Haunted Forest Walk at the Woodridge Community Center. The drop-off location is at the west end of the Woodridge Park District Community Center parking lot, where brave hikers can hop on a hayride that ferries them to the trail in Hawthorne Woods.
The event also offers a daytime ride, which is designed to be less scary for younger kids.
