Car Burglaries On Rise In Woodridge, Cops Say
Woodridge Police released a video of suspects checking cars to see if they were locked.
WOODRIDGE, IL — Police in Woodridge are urging residents to lock their car doors after a recent surge in vehicle burglaries has been reported in the village.
Police took to social media to share a video that depicts suspects checking multiple cars to see if their doors are locked. The suspects fled in what appears to be a light-colored Lexus, according to Woodridge police.
In the post, police reminded residents to keep their car doors locked. Anyone with information or who believes they know the suspects in the video is urged to call the Woodridge Police Department by calling 630-960-8998 or emailing crimetips@vil.woodridge.il.us.
