Congratulations, Gabriella Devitt, Downers Grove North Class Of 2021

WOODRIDGE, IL — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Gabriella Devitt will graduate from Downers Grove North.

Plans after graduation: Gabby will be attending College of DuPage in the fall working towards a degree in Cinematography.

Accomplishments: Gabby was a four year member of the Trojan Marching Band Drumline. Traveling to London in 2018 to perform in the London New Year's Day Parade. She was also a three-year member of the DGN Choirs, traveling to New York and Los Angeles for performances.

Special message: Gabby, from the moment you were born, you brought joy and happiness to everyone you've met. Always remember where you came from. Your lived experiences are what make you, you. Love Mom and Marcus.
