Drive-Up Food Bank Planned In Woodridge
Census Bureau enumerators will be on site at the drive-up food bank event to help you get counted before the Sept. 30 deadline.
WOODRIDGE, IL — Those in need of vital supplies and resources for their family are encouraged to stop by the Woodridge Drive-Up Food Bank and Census Support event on Sept. 1. The Village of Woodridge is teaming up with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the U.S. Census Bureau for the event, happening from 3 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. that Tuesday at Cypress Cove, 8301 S. Janes Avenue in Woodridge, according to the village. Families will be able to drive up and collect pre-packaged food, free reusable face masks, hand sanitizer, and other supplies while stocks last, the village added.
Census Bureau enumerators will be on site to help you get counted before the Sept. 30 deadline.

According to the village, this is a great opportunity to not only secure essential supplies for your family, but to also connect with resources available in your community, including village officials, who will be there to answer questions.

There will also be representatives from other community agencies and U.S. Congressman Bill Foster, who will on site as a volunteer handing out food parcels, the village added.
