Driver Knocks Down Streetlight, Flees Scene In Woodridge
Police say the crash took place around 4 a.m. Friday.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge police are looking for a driver who hit and knocked down a streetlight early Friday. The crash took place around 4 a.m. in the 6100 block of Ridgeway Drive, according to a post on the Woodridge Police Department's Facebook page.
Police say the car who hit the streetlight "likely sustained heavy damage to the front end, including a broken headlight and a flat tire." They added that they "have reason to believe" the car in question was local to the area.
