Early Bird Registration Opens For Woodridge Rotary Club's 17th Mini Triathlon

Early Bird Registration for Chicagoland’s largest mini triathlon opens March 1. The event, sponsored by Woodridge Rotary Club, will be held on Sunday, August 14 at the Woodridge Park District’s award-winning Cypress Cove Aquatic Park, 8301 Janes Avenue, Woodridge. It is geared to participants of all ages and athletic skill levels.

The Main Event starts at 7AM, and the Kids event starts at 10:30AM. Pulte Homes, which is creating a new subdivision of 149 single-family homes in Woodridge called Timbers Edge, has once again committed to being a $2,500 Gold Sponsor.

Reinforcing the community aspect of the event, $5 of each registration fee is pooled and divided between five local organizations: Family Shelter Services, Hope’s Front Door, Metropolitan Family Services, West Suburban Community Pantry, and SEASPAR (South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation.
