Foster To Hold Discussion To Confront Opioid Epidemic

Foster will join members of law enforcement, public officials, and health experts to combat the dangerous heroin epidemic.

OSWEGO, IL -- Rep. Bill Foster (D-IL 11) will make a special appearance in Oswego for a panel discussion ways to confront the ongoing opioid epidemic. Community members are invited to give their feedback at the free discussion, scheduled for Feb. 21 at the Oswego Police Department.

Foster will be joined in the discussion by members of local law enforcement, health experts, and public officials

In a news release, Foster said the event "is an opportunity for community leaders and governmental organizations to examine where we are in the fight against heroin and opioids and how we can work together to combat this epidemic"
