Hobson Dental Associates has raised the bar for safety in Dental care with a number of systems, procedures, and state of the art equipment they have recently implemented or installed to insure the safety of dental care and minimize the chances of transmission of ANY diseases including Covid-19. These procedures are in addition to the previous successful sterilization and disinfection protocols that are designed to prevent cross-contamination from Hepatitis, HIV, and other public health concerns. These Covid-19 specific systems can be broken down into several areas.
1. Barriers
a. All microscopes have shields installed
b. All handles on dental equipment are wrapped with disposable film
c. All administrative employees wear N-95 rated masks
d. Clinical employees wear disposable Personal Protection equipment including gowns, face shields, N-95 masks, disposable gloves.

2. Disinfection
a. All clinical surfaces are wiped down with bactericidal and virucidal disinfectants before and after each patient
b. All administrative areas are wiped with bactericidal and virucidal disinfectants regularly throughout the day.
c. All common areas and waiting room are bactericidal and virucidal disinfectants regularly throughout the day.

3. Air purification
a. We have purchased two hospital grade nanofilter air filtration systems capable of removing airborne virus particles. This represents almost double the air filtration capacity recommended by the Center for Disease Control.

4. Screening
a. All patients have their temperature taken and a series of questions asked regarding their potential exposure to the Covid 19 virus.

5. Vaccination
a. All Hobson Dental employees have been or are in the process of vaccination for Covid 19.
6. Social Distancing
a. All patients, vendors, and visitors are maintaining 6 foot social distancing protocols.
b. Seating in the waiting area is limited and separated to allow 6 ft. distances.
c. Patients have the option of waiting in their automobiles rather than in the waiting area.
