Jefferson Jr H.S. Welcomes New Nat'l Jr. Honor Society Inductees

Principal Justin Warnke Welcomed the New Members and Presented them with their Certifications

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding junior high school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of: Charter, Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Citizenship.

These characterizations have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. The students inducted on April 10, 2019 will be the newest members of our chapter, however it is estimated that over one million students participate in activities of the NJHS and its high school level counterpart, the National Honor Society.

NJHS/NHS chapters are found in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and many United States territories and Canada.
