Kid-Friendly Events in Woodridge this Week: Easter Egg Hunt and Touch-a-Truck
Woodridge kids can burn off some energy at the local Easter egg hunt or hobnob with local firefighters at the village meeting.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The village of Woodridge has fun-filled events this week that are both entertaining and educational. Parents will welcome the distractions for kids as spring fever starts to kick into full swing.
April 13: Woodridge Town Meeting
Kids can touch a firetruck at the next Woodridge Town Meeting, which takes place on Thursday April, 13 at 5:30 p.m at the town center at . During the meeting, parents will be able to get updates on developments in the village and provide feedback of their own.
April 15: Woodridge Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt
5,000 plastic eggs will be hidden on the grounds of Jefferson Junior High School for the 48th annual Lion Jerry Pech Memorial Easter Egg Hunt in Woodridge on Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. The eggs, filled with candy and prizes, will be hidden in five different sections depending on age group. The free event is open for kids as young as two and under up to kids age 10.
