Lion's Club Hosts 50th Annual Easter Egg Hunt In Woodridge

More than 5,000 plastic eggs full of candy will be hidden outside of Jefferson Junior High School for the event.

WOODRIDGE, IL -- The grounds of Jefferson Junior High School will be brightened up with thousands of plastic eggs for the 50th Annual Lion's Club Jerry Pech Memorial Easter Egg Hunt in Woodridge. Kids can hunt for more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and other goodies during the April 20 event.

Kids and parents are encouraged to arrive a little bit before the egg hunt's designated 11 a.m. start time and to bring an Easter basket or a bag to put all their loot in. The free Easter Egg Hunt will have areas for five separate age groups, so kids of all ages will have a chance to find Easter eggs.

The event is open to kids up to 10 years of age. There will be a special area for kids two years old and younger to hunt for eggs.

Guests at the Lion's Club Easter Egg Hunt are also encouraged to bring non-perishable items, which will be donated to West Suburban Community Pantry.
