Terrier Mix, Bird Among Missing Pets In Woodridge, DuPage County
These pets are missing from their homes or have been found by someone in Woodridge and across DuPage County.
WOODRIDGE, IL — The following cats and dogs have recently gone missing from their homes or have been spotted in Woodridge and across DuPage County.
- Female terrier mix: Shared by the Woodridge Police Department via DuPage County Animal Services: According to police, the dog resembles Falkor from the movie "The NeverEnding Story." The dog was found at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Highcrest Town homes, located at 83rd/Route 53. This female, terrier mix has no tags or microchip. She is not up for adoption. - Missing pet bird (pictured above): Shared Saturday by Woodridge Patch Neighbor Jurgita — "Kiwi" has been missing since Friday (Aug. 27). The male bird was last seen in Woodridge, near Janes Avenue and 75th Street.
- Shared on Aug. 6, 2020 by Woodridge Patch Neighbor Rose Velkovich: (Pictured above). "Abby is a black and gray dog last seen at Lake Harriet in Woodridge. She is very skittish. Do not chase. Please call the Woodridge Police Dept if you spot her."

- Male Bloodhound-mix — Woodridge and Bolingbrook area: Found on Aug. 24 near Industrial Parkway and Route 53 by the warehouses. Described as a friendly black, tan and white dog. - Missing tan dog with pink collar — Aurora: spotted Monday on Fordham Ave and New York Street by West Aurora High School: >> Photo
- Male German Shepherd — Aurora: Animal Control was called and picked up a medium-sized German Shepherd male dog reported as not having any tags or collar when found walking around Lincoln Park on the West Side of Aurora. He is very docile but with no collar I couldn't grab him. >> Photo
- Stray intake at DuPage County Animal Services: A female Beagle mix arrived at the shelter at the beginning of August after being picked up at Spring Valley and Robin in Carol Stream: >> Photo and more information.
