Multi-Screen Movie Theater, Restaurant Coming To Westmont
The project is set to start in fall 2018.

WESTMONT, IL — A vacant storefront in Westmont will soon be home to a multi-screen movie theater that's likely to give a boost to the area's economy. In mid-July the Westmont Village Board approved construction of the 36,000 square foot complex, which will also bring a gym and a restaurant to that corner of 63rd and Cass, Chicago Tribune reports.
Along with the movie theater — planned up to 12 screens — the Kensington Development Partners project brings with it a Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers and LA Fitness. There will also be room for additional businesses, according to Chicago Tribune.
The intersection, which once housed the now-closed Westbrook Market, is home to Saffron Indian Restaurant, Dotty's, and Walgreens.
