Pete The Cat To Roll Through Woodridge Anniversary Parade

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Public Library recently announced two more spectacular additions to the Woodridge Anniversary Celebration. Beloved kids' character Pete the Cat will march in the Woodridge Anniversary Parade on Sept. 28 and the fun keeps going later in the day with a Very Hungry Caterpillar Storywalk.

Parents and kids who watch the parade should keep their eyes peeled for Pete the Cat and his blue Jeep. He will also be accompanied by an umbrella brigade!

At 1 p.m., head to the Woodridge Town Plaza to walk through the pages of the popular Very Hungry Caterpillar story. At the end of the storywalk, kids get a free treat to celebrate the village's birthday.
