PHOTOS: Pappa's Pizza Honored for 33 Years in Woodridge

The owners of the Woodridge business were presented with a plaque commemorating their years in the village at the Woodridge Village Board meeting Thursday.

The owners of Papa's Pizza in Woodridge were greeted with applause from a room full of people Thursday night at the Village of Woodridge regular board meeting. The 33-year-old business was presented with a plaque commemorating its years in the village.

"If I'd known you all liked our pizza so much, I would've brought a lot more coupons!" Philip Palcowski joked as the applause continued.

The business is owned by Palcowski and co-owner Matt Marciniec.

"Woodridge is a great town to work with...Generation upon generation of customers. People have moved, changed jobs, [but they] still come back," said Palcowski.
