Police Seeking Help Locating Lemont Burglary Suspect

Police are looking for a white male, 6'2" tall, approximately 220 pounds with brown hair.

Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a burglary suspect from Lemont Township.

On October 3, at 9:30 a.m., residents of a house in the the 13100 block of Derby Road in Lemont Township came home to find a blue SUV parked in their driveway. The make and model of the SUV are unknown, but the two-door SUV had temporary license plates.

As they approached their house, someone fled the scene with some of their belongings. There appeared to be evidence of forced entry to the back entrance of the home.

A description of the offender is as follows: white male, 6’02", 220 pounds with brown hair. A sketch has been provided. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Cook County Sheriff’s non-emergency number at 847-635-1188.

Lemont is less than seven miles from the Village of Woodridge.
