Potential Dangers of Social Media for Children: Woodridge Police To Hold Event April 10
Downers Grove police will present a bilingual program that helps parents understand the types of media children are exposed to online.

Social media can pose several risks for children and adolescents. On April 10, Woodridge Police will team up with School District 68 for a bilingual presentation that helps Woodridge Parents understand the potential dangers and the type of media kids can be exposed to on social media platforms.
The program, called Hidden in Plain Sight: Youth and the Digital World, will be free for Woodridge residents and there is no registration required. If you attend the event with children, childcare will be available courtesy of School District 68. The event, which will be presented in both English and Spanish, takes place at Jefferson Junior High School at 7200 Janes Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday April 10.
