Public Meeting Planned For District 68 Building Proposals
The district is proposing changes to the athletic facilities at Jefferson Junior High and an addition to its administrative office.

WOODRIDGE, IL -- Woodridge residents are encouraged to attend a public meeting Monday to discuss proposals from District 68 for additions and changes to athletic facilities at Jefferson Junior High School and an addition to the district's administrative offices. The planing and zoning commission's public meeting on the proposals will be held on March 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodridge Village Hall.
The proposed construction at Jefferson Junior High School includes building a new track facility that would feature an artificial turf field on its interior. The new track center would be built to the west of the junior high school, village officials said in a news update.
District 68 also plans to remove a baseball and softball field and to relocate two baseball and softball fields to the north of the school.
