Register For Week 8 Of Summer Camp In Woodridge

WOODRIDGE, IL —The Woodridge Park District has added an extra week of summer camp planned for Monday, Aug. 10 through that Friday at the Athletic Rec Center, 8201 S. Janes Avenue. According to the park district, week 8 of Breakout Summer Camp will be filled with fun and safe activities for campers in grades 1 through 9.

The park district said the camp will take on a new look in an effort to follow CDC, federal, state and local government guidelines pertaining to disinfecting, social distancing and group sizes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The park district added that due to the CDC guidelines, field trips and visits to Cypress Cove will not take place this summer.

In addition, the park district noted that the counselor to camper ratio will be 1:9 or less, with groups following all social distancing guidelines throughout the day.
