Registration Now Open for the 2017 Independence Open at Village Greens Golf Course
The annual Independence Open will be held on Tuesday, July 4th at the Woodridge golf course.

Bill Dooley, CEO of Dooley.com Tour, and Village Greens of Woodridge will host the annual Independence Open on Tuesday, July 4th. The tournament is a friendly, but competitive public event that allows golfers to compete against others and win cash prizes. Participants need a valid golf handicap and a love for golf.
The Independence Open is played as an 18-hole, two-person scramble. Scoring for the event is played at 35% of Player A’s handicap, and 15 of Player B’s handicap. The lowest net score for the round will be declared the winner and given a cash prize. There will also be a payout for the top low gross scores of the day, along with other smaller purses for your participation. The estimated payout total is expected to be $2,500 this year.
Registration is now open, and will stay open until Saturday, July 1st at 6:00 p.m. To register, visit villagegreensgolf.com to fill out the application and submit to Village Greens. Entry fees are $80 per team ($16 additional per person for cart). Payment must accompany entry
