See Stars At Woodridge Public Library Astronomy Event
Guests can bring their own telescopes or use an on-site telescope if weather permits.
WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Public Library is hosting a special astronomy night on Dec. 4. The event, hosted by Rick Gering from the Naperville Astronomical Association, will teach guests how to spot and identify the stars they see outside their own homes.
Gering will teach guests the best times to go star gazing and how to get the most ideal views. After Gering's presentation, he'll take guests outside to gaze up at the stars using his telescope or their own, if weather permits.
The event is appropriate for children ages 12 and older.
