Ted Staroscik of Woodridge Shot First Ever Hole-in-One at Village Greens of Woodridge
This was the second hole-in-one recorded this season at the Woodridge Park District golf course

The second hole-in-one of the year at Village Greens of Woodridge was recorded by Ted Staroscik of Woodridge on Friday, May 5th. Ted hit a 5-iron from 165 yards about eight feet short of the hole and watched it roll into the cup for his first ever hole-in-one. Actuaries calculate the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one at approximately 12,500: 1.
“Congratulations, Ted, for accomplishing one of the rarest feats in golf - a hole-in-one,” said Brandon Evans, General Manager of Village Greens. “As one of our most loyal patrons, we are thrilled that achieved your first hole-in-one here at Village Greens.”
