Rainy Weather Postpones First Day Of Woodridge Jubilee Carnival

WOODRIDGE, IL -- Those who have been unable to contain their excitement for the kickoff of the 2019 Woodridge Jubilee will have to wait another day to celebrate. The opening day of the Jubilee, which was set for Wednesday, has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Woodridge Police Department made the announcement Wednesday afternoon that carnival rides for the evening would be canceled. The festival is expected to open Thursday with its full roster of carnival rides, food trucks, and performers, if weather permits.
