Wonder Woman Kicks Off Storytime At Woodridge Public Library
The library offers storytimes in Spanish and special sessions for kids with sensory sensitivity.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Aspiring superheroes got a special treat Wednesday when Wonder Woman paid a visit to the Woodridge Public Library. Nearly 100 people — many of whom were clad in their own superhero garb — attended the Superhero Storytime event, which marks the start of the library's annual storytime season.
Throughout the fall, Woodridge Library will hold several such storytelling events to help promote literacy in children. The events are geared toward children of all ages, with special story sessions available for infants and children with sensory sensitivities.
Some storytelling times require advance registration and others are drop-in times.
