West Suburban Community Pantry To Host Car Seat Safety Event

The class, which is open to DuPage County residents and will include a free car seat for those who meet certain guidelines.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Parents can learn about best practices for car seat safety at an upcoming event hosted by the West Suburban Community Pantry and led by a Woodridge police officer. The Sept. 7 Car Seat Safety Class, which will be offered in both English and Spanish at the West Suburban Community Pantry, is only open to DuPage County residents.

Those interested in taking part in the class may be eligible to receive a free car seat if they meet specific guidelines. To set up an appointment, contact Kristin at 630-948-8136.

  • Driver's license, state ID, or passport for household members ages 18 and older
  • Birth certificates or social security cards for all household members
  • Lease or rent agreement
  • Utility bill
  • Payroll stubs showing income for past 90 days
